How does BROM work?

BROM uses advanced electronics and ROOVEE software, while all communication with the bicycle takes place using Internet of Things (IoT) technology, thanks to Orange Polska’s infrastructure.

Access to the system is available through a dedicated mobile application for phones running Android and iOS, as well as via a telecode and SMS (for owners of ordinary phones). This means that BROM provides broad accessibility, without excluding members of society who do not have smartphones.

With BROM, users get 15 minutes free of charge; after that, they pay 5 groszy for each additional minute. The initial fee may be used entirely for rides or refunded by the user at any time.

The system also features an innovative solution that rewards users for returning bicycles to BROM-ROOVEE PARK zones. This helps us keep things orderly, while users “earn” additional paid rides.
