Bolesławiec traffic police took the driving licenses of four drivers in one day for disregarding the speed limit in a built-up area. “The record-holder was an 18-year-old resident of Bolesławiec Municipality, who exceeded the speed limit in a built-up area by 115 km/h,” reports asp. szt. Anna Kublik-Rościszewska, press officer of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec. “The teenager, with little driving experience, having held his driving license for five months, was speeding at 165 km/h.”

She adds:

A 29-year-old resident of Podkarpackie Voivodeship was driving at 118 km/h when he was stopped in Bolesławiec County. A 45-year-old from Zgorzelec County exceeded the speed limit by 62 km/h, while a 34-year-old from Bolesławiec was recorded at 102 km/h.

All four lost their driving licenses for three months. In addition, three drivers were fined. One refused to accept the fine. In this case, the matter will be decided in court.
