– While carrying out investigative activities, police officers obtained information that a 27-year-old resident of Jelenia Góra County was most likely connected with drug-related crime – reports Superintendent Edyta Bagrowska, press officer for the Municipal Police Headquarters in Jelenia Góra. – While verifying further information in the case, officers found drugs in bags in his garage.
In total, the officers seized more than ONE KILOGRAM of marijuana with a black-market value of at least PLN 130,000. An electronic scale was also secured.
The 27-year-old was taken into police custody. Police officers are currently clarifying all the circumstances of the case in detail, including where the narcotic substances came from and whether the suspect dealt in them.
The man, who has been placed under police supervision and must pay bail, now faces between one and as many as ten years in prison.
