The District Prosecutor’s Office in Bolesławiec has filed an indictment with the District Court in Bolesławiec against a councillor of the Bolesławiec City Council, Dariusz F. The information was confirmed by the Deputy District Prosecutor, Sebastian Woźniak.
According to the evidence collected by the prosecutor’s office, while serving as manager of the municipal cemetery in Bolesławiec, Dariusz F. repeatedly humiliated, ridiculed and criticised a subordinate cemetery administration employee. He threatened her with dismissal or a change of position. According to the prosecutor’s office, he also induced the woman to forge his signature on documents while he was absent from work.
The case will now be handled by the District Court in Bolesławiec, which will determine whether the evidence collected by the prosecutor’s office is sufficient to establish guilt.
The offence of abuse is punishable by between 3 months and 5 years’ imprisonment. Inducing someone to provide a false signature carries the same penalty.
