Motorcyclist with a driving ban crashes. He was caught with drugs and may have been under their influence

The incident occurred on Tuesday, June 30, in the afternoon, in Parowa (Osiecznica commune). The motorcycle driver, a 32-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County, lost control of the vehicle. The motorcycle overturned.

The man, who is banned from driving, was injured. He was taken to a hospital in Zgorzelec with a hip injury.

Moreover, methamphetamine and marijuana were found in the 32-year-old's backpack. Preliminary findings by the officers indicate that the man may have been driving under the influence of intoxicating substances.

The 32-year-old could now face up to three years in prison.
