20. The New Horizons Festival, the largest film event in Poland, has officially been moved to November, thereby creating a “festival gap” at the turn of July and August—the event’s original date.
The New Horizons Tour is an excellent opportunity to fill this gap and take advantage of the festival’s popularity and energy, which is why we invited New Horizons to Bolesławiec.
The Tour programme will feature special screenings of three exceptional festival titles that have not yet had their Polish cinema premieres: “Bait” by Mark Jenkin, winner of the 19th edition of New Horizons; “Ema” by Pablo Larraín, a hit of the upcoming festival edition and one of the most eccentric films of the latest NH edition; “Liberté” by Albert Serra—one of the most eccentric films of the latest New Horizons.
