On June 10, a fundraiser began for Zosia Bojanowska’s heart operation. After many campaigns and auctions joined by kind people from across Bolesławiec County, the full amount—PLN 390,000—was raised in 12 days. The fundraiser continues until July 15, 2020.
We wish Zosia lots of health, strength and perseverance. A serious operation lies ahead of her. We send our regards to her courageous parents and bow our heads to everyone who became involved in helping this child.

thanks to you, Zosia will go for surgery! We did it—we have 100% of the amount needed to perform the operation at a German clinic, namely PLN 391,560.00.
Your help, participation in auctions and challenges, and support in every form were and remain invaluable. For every kind thought and every smallest penny, THANK YOU! Together, you cheered Zosia on, and we hope you will continue to support her in the further fight.
It is unimaginable how much we experienced during these 12 (sic!) days of the fundraiser. How much doubt in the first minutes, how many fears, and then how many moving moments, good emotions, beautiful words and gestures, how much kindness. You are extraordinary! You set the machinery in motion, made it run and sprint! It was and is beautiful. Twelve days were enough… we still cannot believe it.
We were not sure whether it would work… Because asking for help is much harder than giving it. And we stood before you and had to overcome that difficulty. A parent will do absolutely anything to save their child’s life.
You are a powerful force! The force of thousands of people with great hearts who decided to fight and save one little child. THANK YOU! We know that there are many children and people in similar situations. We already know that we will want to help them. Kindness comes back.
