Officers from the Traffic Department of the Bolesławiec police, operating as part of the SPEED group, stopped a motorcyclist for inspection on national road no. 94. “The rider was travelling at 134 km/h in a built-up area, exceeding the speed limit by 84 km/h,” says asp. szt. On the same road, traffic officers also stopped two drivers of passenger cars. The spokesperson said: “A 48-year-old resident of Bolesławiec was travelling at 104 km/h in a built-up area, while a 59-year-old resident of Zgorzelec County exceeded the speed limit by 56 km/h.

All three lost their driving licences for three months. What is more, the speedsters received fines and penalty points.
