The incident occurred on Sunday, June 21, after 5:00 p.m., in Raciborowice (Warta Bolesławiecka municipality).
The driver of a Peugeot, a 55-year-old resident of Złotoryja County, drove off the road on a bend and hit a roadside tree and a streetlamp.
Despite attempts to resuscitate him, the man could not be saved. Police and the prosecutor’s office are investigating the circumstances of the tragedy.
