Along with the lifting of sanitary controls, the quarantine requirement was also abolished. This applies both to people leaving Poland and to those returning to our country. The European Union’s external borders remain closed.

Information of the Nadodrzański Border Guard Unit on the conclusion of the temporarily reinstated border controls:

As of 13 June, pursuant to the Regulation of the Minister of the Interior and Administration of 11 June 2020 amending the regulation on the temporary reinstatement of border controls on persons crossing the state border constituting an internal border, controls on the internal border section will be terminated.

The abolition of controls at the internal border means that no border checks are being carried out on the Polish side, and people entering Poland do not have to undergo mandatory quarantine. The border may be crossed freely at any location, both when travelling to and from Poland; however, when planning travel abroad, the restrictions in force in the neighbouring or destination country should be taken into account.
