On Friday (June 12), at around 6:00 p.m., on Jodłowa Street in Nowogrodziec, a passenger car collided with a mobility scooter. According to the police’s preliminary findings, the scooter driver, a 59-year-old resident of Nowogrodziec Municipality, failed to give way to a 19-year-old Opel driver, who was driving correctly and was also from Nowogrodziec Municipality.
The 59-year-old man was resuscitated. Unfortunately, the scooter driver died as a result of his injuries.
The police are determining the details of the incident.
