The crossing over the Bóbr River is undergoing comprehensive renovation. The most demanding work on renovating the supports and structural elements of the bridge spans has already been completed. Pedestrians can move freely along the new sidewalk. Road workers have begun renovating the two traffic lanes.
And they add:
At the investment planning stage, the estimated cost was set at approximately PLN 3,000,000. In the tender, the contractor proposed an amount PLN 500,000 lower. The County authorities submitted an application for funding to the Government Roads Fund, which granted 80-percent funding, amounting to PLN 2,320,000. This is money at the disposal of the Lower Silesian Voivode.
Under a partnership agreement, the remaining amount was divided between Bolesławiec County and the Municipality of Bolesławiec.
