Bolesławiec criminal investigators identified two people suspected of property-related crimes as a result of operational activities. – Officers arrested a 26-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County who, during the nights of May 31 to June 1 and June 1 to 2, committed three thefts of goods transported by lorries parked for an overnight stop. The incidents took place in Gromadka municipality. The perpetrator stole power tools, assembly adhesive and a battery – reports asp. szt. Anna Kublik-Rościszewska, press officer of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec. – Police officers also arrested a 24-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County who helped the perpetrator put the stolen property into circulation by placing it in a pawn shop.
Officers recovered a significant portion of the stolen property. Efforts to recover the remaining items are ongoing.

The 26-year-old was charged with three counts of theft involving property worth over PLN 38,000, while the 24-year-old was charged with handling stolen goods.
Both suspects could face between three months and as much as five years in prison.
