The Regional Blood Donation and Blood Therapy Centre has announced its schedule of visits. Blood can be donated at the blood donation bus, which will be stationed at the Bolesławiecki Ośrodek Kultury – Międzynarodowe Centrum Ceramiki, on the following dates:

  • in July: 20–24 and 27–31
  • in August: 24–28.

    • also directly ensures continuity in the supply of medicine (platelets, plasma and red blood cells) to the hospital.

  • It should be emphasised that the number of patients requiring help from haematologists is steadily increasing, and in our area it is higher than in other regions of Poland.
According to WHO projections, by 2030 the number of deaths from cancer may exceed 17 million.
