The incident occurred on Wednesday, June 3, at around 5:00 p.m. Volunteer firefighters from Różyniec:

5:21 p.m. – we were dispatched to the industrial zone in Osła, to one of the companies where a bomb had reportedly been found.
Around 750 people were evacuated.

The alarm turned out to be false. Firefighters from Bolesławiec, Różyniec and Gromadka took part in the operation, along with bomb-disposal experts from Wrocław, an emergency medical team and the police, who are investigating the case.

Let us remind you. Causing a false bomb alarm may carry a sentence of between six months and as many as eight years in prison.
