During the resumed meeting of the Bolesławiec County Council, which took place this Thursday in a… correspondence-based format (sic!), Bolesławiec County Governor Tomasz Gabrysiak and director of the Independent Public Healthcare Institution in Bolesławiec Kamil Barczyk came under a barrage of questions from councillors.
The head of the healthcare institution was asked, among other things, about the return of the Bolesławiec facility to helping patients with illnesses other than Covid-19. K. Barczyk:
We already wanted to do this; we are also tired of the monotony of the work. But patient safety will require certain stages in reopening the hospital: tracking and monitoring the development of the epidemiological situation in the country.
And he added:
I think that in June or July we could begin gradually reopening literally a few of the hospital’s services. But it is still too early to say this precisely.
We will certainly return to this issue.
