The Lwówek celebration was scheduled to take place from 17 to 19 July 2020. It was to be the 23rd edition of the event. Michał Szpak and Sarsa, among others, were due to perform.
Unfortunately, the event has been cancelled this year. – We have already made the decision that, unfortunately, we are postponing Lwówek Agate Summer until next year – confirmed mayor Mariola Szczęsna in an interview with Muzyczne Radio.
What about the Bolesławiec Ceramic Festival?
– We are in contact with the president and are waiting to see how events develop. It certainly will not be the same kind of event as every year. We must comply with the requirements in force throughout the country. For now, I do not want to speculate on what form the event will take – says Kornel Filipowicz, director of BOK – MCC, which organizes the Bolesławiec Ceramic Festival.
If the Bolesławiec authorities decide that the ceramics fair will take place, it will be organized from 19 to 23 August.
