Will Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz be the president who heals the divisions in Poland? The PSL candidate declares that he will fight without vilifying or attacking his opponents. His weapons are to be his platform and activity. During the interview, viewers will be able to ask our guest questions.

Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz:

I see the whole situation surrounding Kazik's song as an expression of the ruling camp's total stupidity, the politicization of the media, manual control and the desire to curry favor with Jarosław Kaczyński.

The pen is a symbol of Andrzej Duda's servile policy. The President of the Republic of Poland has been reduced to the role of a subcontractor for the ruling party's leader.

The office of the president should be equipped with much broader powers.

My number-one goal is to rebuild the community in Poland. The trenches dug between Poles are very deep.

I will be president for Andrzej Duda's voters just as much as for Rafał Trzaskowski's.

I will not be a president who peeks out from behind the curtain. I respect every person, their choices and their attitudes.

What kind of Poland? A Poland that builds bridges of understanding, not walls of hatred.

We paid too much attention to monuments to John Paul II and too little to his words.

The issues Greta Thunberg raises concerning ecology, I think, are also close to the current Pope Francis.

Agritourism and cycling trips are a great attraction. Today, this is a form of activity and spending free time, as well as getting around. A program to expand cycling routes will create opportunities for tourism and the development of towns.

In December, Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska was the best KO candidate. Rafał Trzaskowski's candidacy is now a rescue option, KO's last resort.

I have known Rafał Trzaskowski for years and I approach his candidacy with respect. I know that I have a much better chance of defeating Andrzej Duda in the second round than he does.

There is a new situation; the campaign is changing. I would very much like to return to open meetings.

We will be strongly present both online and in the field. We will be throughout Poland, from the smallest towns to the largest cities.

I have not yet watched Sekielski's entire film. The film evokes sadness and bitterness about all this. Pedophilia, a crime committed against a child, is vile regardless of who commits it. This offense, this crime, hurts even more when it is committed by a priest.

Those in power probably have the most explaining to do. They promised to increase the penalties. President Duda, because there were extensive changes to the Criminal Code, referred the matter to the Constitutional Tribunal.

I blame the Constitutional Tribunal because nearly a year has passed and the case has not been heard. I blame the minister of justice for the way he approaches this matter, how he downplays it and does not demand a Constitutional Tribunal ruling in the case.

No one in the political class can say, “Yes, we did everything possible.” Apart from conferences, there have been no results. There must be a strong president who will want to do this. Andrzej Duda is not such a president.

Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz has been associated almost all his life with the Polish People's Party, Poland's oldest political party. At the age of 19, together with friends from across Poland, he founded the Forum of Young Farmers, an organization intended to prepare young idealists to become involved in public life. He took part in 18 election campaigns for the People's Party. For the first time, during the 2000 presidential election, he worked on Jarosław Kalinowski's campaign staff. He distributed leaflets, put up posters and collected signatures for electoral lists, and at the time it never occurred to him that 20 years later he himself would enter the presidential race.
