The incident occurred on Sunday, May 17, just before midnight, on Dolne Młyny Street in Bolesławiec, near the viaduct. The rider of a Yamaha motorcycle, a 38-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County, failed to adjust his speed to the traffic conditions and hit a curb.
The machine overturned. Fortunately, the rider did not suffer any serious injuries.
It turned out that the motorcyclist was drunk; he had almost 2 parts per thousand of alcohol in his system. The man could now face up to two years behind bars.
