– Officers from the Kruszyn Police Station identified the perpetrator of the theft as a result of operational activities. The crime took place on the night of April 26–27 in the Warta Bolesławiecka municipality. A bicycle worth PLN 1,400 was stolen from a stairwell, says Anna Kublik-Rościszewska, press officer of the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters.
She adds:
Police identified and arrested a 27-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County suspected in the case. As a result of further actions, officers recovered the bicycle and handed it over to its owner.
The arrested man admitted guilt. He gave explanations. He now faces a sentence of between three months and five years in prison.
