For about two weeks, the authorities of the county hospital in Bolesławiec have been observing a downward trend in the number of patients with COVID-19. “These data are encouraging,” says Kamil Barczyk, director of the Zespół Opieki Zdrowotnej w Bolesławcu.
There are currently 27 people hospitalized in our hospital, including 19 infected with the coronavirus. Previously, the number of hospitalized people reached as many as 60, of whom 11 patients were in serious condition (on ventilators).
“I hope that the current situation will stabilize,” adds K. Barczyk.
ZOZ w Bolesławcu currently has 65 beds, but is expanding so that it can admit 80 patients. (The isolation facility itself has 50 beds).
