On Sunday, 3 May, officers from the Bolesławiec traffic police, operating as part of the provincial SPEED group, stopped two drivers and confiscated their driving licences.
“The first to be stopped for a roadside check was a 30-year-old resident of Wrocław, who was driving at 104 km/h in the Warta Bolesławiecka municipality,” reports Anna Kublik-Rościszewska, press officer of the County Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec. “The second driver who ignored the speed limits was a resident of Legnica County; the 51-year-old exceeded the permitted speed by 56 km/h.
What is more, both road pirates were fined and given penalty points.
