We have 159 new and confirmed coronavirus infection cases from the following voivodeships: Silesian (42), Lower Silesian (37), Masovian (25), Lesser Poland (19), Łódź (18), West Pomeranian (9), Greater Poland (5), Podlaskie (2), Świętokrzyskie (1), Subcarpathian (1).
We regret to inform you of the death of 16 people infected with coronavirus (age-sex, place of death): 67-M Tychy, 80-F Bytom, 78-M Gdańsk, 68-F Wrocław, 85-F Płock, 91-F Radom, 73-F, 93-F, 78-F, 87-F, 64-M Warsaw, 93-M Wolica, 49-M, 65-M Zgierz, 81-M, 90-F Radomsko. Most of the people had comorbidities.
In connection with the report submitted by WSSE Katowice concerning false-positive results from tests performed between 16 and 19 April at the Kardio-Med Silesia Śląski Park Technologii Medycznych laboratory in Zabrze, we inform you that the results of 63 samples are negative. Therefore, they are being deducted from the statistics.
