The collision occurred at around 5:20 p.m. at the intersection near the prosecutor’s office. The unmarked Opel Astra was responding with its siren and emergency lights to an incident on Zgorzelecka Street. At the Chrobrego and Polna intersection, fearing he would hit another car, the driver swerved around it and knocked down a road sign indicating a pedestrian crossing.
None of the police officers was injured. Their car did not hit any other vehicle.
