It is possible that the number of coronavirus cases in our voivodeship will increase, and consequently, more oxygen will be needed for patients in serious condition. “The infrastructure must be prepared for this,” says Kamil Barczyk, director of the Healthcare Complex in Bolesławiec.
The hospital is expanding its oxygen plant with a 16-ton tank. (Construction work has been underway since the beginning of the week).
Currently, Bolesławiec County Hospital has 7 ventilator beds for patients in serious condition. (There are many more ventilators themselves.) Next week, in accordance with the voivode’s recommendation, the number of beds of this type will more than double—to 16.
