– Cooperation between police officers from Kruszyn and Bolesławiec led to the arrest of two men suspected of crimes against property. Based on the information they gathered, officers identified and arrested the perpetrators of two burglaries involving coin-operated machines at a car wash – says asp. szt. Anna Kublik-Rościszewska, press officer for the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters.
The suspects are residents of Legnica County, aged 24 and 33. The spokeswoman says:
Pretending to wash a vehicle, the men directed a stream of water toward the surveillance camera to conceal their appearance and break into a cash machine.
(Both crimes took place in recent days in Bolesławiec Municipality.)
The suspects admitted to the crimes and gave statements. They now face between one and as many as ten years in prison.
