In mid-March, Agata S.A., a chain of showrooms selling furniture and interior furnishings, decided to join the nationwide fight against coronavirus and support healthcare during the pandemic. The company donated PLN 1,000,000 for the purchase of medical equipment and sanitary protection supplies needed by hospitals to combat COVID-19. Among the institutions that received support from Agata showrooms was the Zespół Opieki Zdrowotnej w Bolesławcu—the hospital received two renal replacement therapy machines worth PLN 216,000.

The decision on the distribution of the donation and the purchase of equipment was made in accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Health, which the company had asked to determine the appropriate direction for transferring the funds.
During this difficult time, it is important that assistance be directed where it is particularly needed. The grant and the purchase of equipment respond to the needs of specific institutions. This is support both for hospitals and for medical personnel caring for patients with coronavirus.
