The Municipality of Bolesławiec, which took part in a grant competition under the “Remote School” program, obtained PLN 100,000 for computer equipment—priceless in the era of remote learning. This was the maximum possible amount of funding that could be received in the competition mentioned.
With this money, City Hall officials will purchase 34 computers with internet access.
The equipment will be given to schools, which will lend it to parents or legal guardians.
According to Beata Sulska, head of the Social Affairs Department at Bolesławiec City Hall, this number of new computers should meet the schools’ needs, especially since the Municipality of Bolesławiec already equipped and modernized all the computer labs in its schools in December 2018.
As the head of the Social Affairs Department emphasizes, no student from Bolesławiec should be left without support when it comes to remote learning.
