While patrolling the city streets, officers from the Bolesławiec police headquarters noticed a vehicle being driven by a man they knew. – The neighbourhood officers knew that the 26-year-old was not allowed to drive a car because he was subject to a court ban – says Asp. Sgt. Anna Kublik-Rościszewska, press officer of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec. – The officers stopped the vehicle and prevented the driver from continuing on his way.

The 26-year-old violated a court ban on driving motor vehicles, which remains in force until October 2022.

What is more, the officers had previously confiscated... the registration certificate of the vehicle driven by the Bolesławiec resident. The car was in poor technical condition.

The 26-year-old could now face between three months and as much as five years in prison.
