– The Sejm has already made its decision, but there is still no signature from the president and there is no Senate – said Bolesławiec mayor Piotr Roman. – What does this mean for the election commissioner? That they have to organize the elections under the old law. This means organizing election commissions, for which several dozen people have signed up—around 15 percent of the required number of people.

– People really do not know whether the polling stations will be open or not. How will the votes be counted? The whole matter is hanging in limbo – P. Roman continued. – Completely absurd situations are occurring. Yesterday or the day before yesterday, someone from the Polish Post Office in Bolesławiec called one of the school principals, asking whether she would provide a polling station. This concerns the school on Ceramiczna Street. Since when has the Polish Post Office been responsible for organizing polling stations?

Update

We would like to clarify that the call concerning the elections did not come from the Post Office in Bolesławiec, but from the Post Office in Jelenia Góra.
