– We are at the limit of our capacity when it comes to admitting patients – says Kamil Barczyk, director of the Zespół Opieki Zdrowotnej in Bolesławiec. Therefore, adapting the attic will be necessary at our hospital. The adaptation work will begin later this week.
K. Barczyk: – We are adapting the hospital so that intensive-care beds are available to patients, with at least 15 beds. I also hope that we will increase the general bed capacity by 10–20 percent.
As a rule, approximately 100 people are hospitalized per day at the county hospital in Bolesławiec.
