The chairman of the Association, Zbigniew Czeryba, explains how the foresters chose the hospital in Bolesławiec. The foresters were raising funds to support the fight against the epidemic, with the intention of helping hospitals in our province. On one of the news portals, they found a list of facilities asking for help. In Lower Silesia, this was the single-name hospital in Bolesławiec.

– The State Forests donated PLN 2 million in support of the Ministry of Health, which allocated the funds to medical services fighting the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. We, as the Lower Silesian Region of the Association of Polish Foresters in the Republic of Poland, decided to support a specific hospital. The hospital in Bolesławiec needed help. Our relatives, friends and neighbors are treated here. Hence our decision – the chairman adds.
The foresters contacted the hospital in Bolesławiec and made a payment, while continuing to collect funds for this noble cause, counting on the generosity of their colleagues working in the State Forests in our region.
