On Wednesday, April 1, by noon, police officers had identified 5 people who were outside their homes without a valid reason. Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters:

Every day, several police patrols head out into the area to check people who are outside their places of residence. Police officers remind the public of the ban on movement. Due to the spread of the coronavirus, which threatens health and life, anyone who fails to comply with the law must expect consequences for disregarding the restrictions.

Officers check parks, playgrounds, paths along the Bóbr River and allotment gardens; they verify whether people who should be staying at their places of residence are there.

The police add:

As the past few days have shown, despite the bans that have been introduced, there are people who travel without a valid reason – whether for recreation or simply out of boredom.

We appeal once again to everyone to stay at home. In this difficult time, everyone must show great responsibility and discipline. After all, we all share the same goal: limiting the spread of the coronavirus and caring for our own lives and health, as well as those of our loved ones.
