Since you are all stuck at home, completing assignments given remotely by your teachers and spending looooots of time in front of a monitor, we suggest changing your surroundings and moving, for example, to the kitchen or another place where you can devote yourselves to scientific and technical creativity.

Try using what you have at hand to build, for example, a device, toy or practical object, or plan and practise carrying out a scientific experiment that you can present to the competition jury.

We announce a competition with prizes: HOME LABORATORY.

You can download the rules and entry form from our website and Facebook.

We are very curious to see what you come up with!

See you. Below are just three links to interesting materials, but there are many more such ideas online. Let your interests and imagination guide you:

Seniors and MBP-CW in virtual reality

In view of the problems related to the spread of the epidemiological threat and the need to close the MBP-CW premises, we continue our efforts to find alternative ways of fulfilling our mission.

For many years, we have organised educational activities for seniors using the institution’s facilities and equipment. We have now transferred these activities into virtual reality.

The participants received the new form of activities with great appreciation.

Having to stay at home does not have to mean spending time alone. Using modern technologies, free software, and the experience and knowledge of our librarian, we organise group meetings online.

English-language and computer skills classes, as well as a theatre club, are held remotely.

We are already conducting classes for more than twenty people.

We are soon planning to establish a discussion club. It will enable a larger group of seniors to freely exchange thoughts and opinions.
