The county hospital in Bolesławiec is running out of protective masks for staff. Employees are asking people not to come to the facility until Monday, when new masks are expected to reach Bolesławiec.
– On Saturday night alone, we had more than 20 people who came to have swabs taken because they suspected they were infected. In our opinion, they are making up symptoms just to get a test. It makes no sense. Because of them, supplies are being used up, and afterward there is nothing left to take to patients – employees said anonymously.
According to our sources, the facility is running out of FFP3 masks, which protect against infection, despite the government’s assurances that healthcare workers have been provided with personal protective equipment.
The hospital administration does not confirm this information.
