As reported today by the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec, no cases of people leaving their home-quarantine locations have yet been recorded in our county.
District Police Headquarters:
While supporting the sanitary services, we check on people subject to home quarantine. Uniformed officers go out into the field every day to check whether people under home quarantine are at their place of residence and whether they need assistance.
Without direct contact
Importantly, the checks take place without direct contact. “Uniformed police officers, while near the quarantine location, call the person under quarantine and ask them to show themselves, for example, at a window,” says Anna Kublik-Rościszewska, press officer of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec. “People subject to home quarantine in Bolesławiec County are disciplined and follow the sanitary services’ recommendations.”
What if someone breaks quarantine?
Officers:
If police officers fail to find a person under quarantine, they immediately inform the sanitary inspectorate about the incident. In addition, explanatory proceedings will be conducted in this matter concerning failure to comply with the applicable quarantine-related orders.
They add:
We appeal for responsible behavior, including compliance with the restrictions introduced and carrying out the instructions of the services. People under quarantine are obliged to remain at the quarantine location!
