Vice-President of the District Court in Bolesławiec Ilona Kata:

Due to the need to take measures aimed at preventing the spread of the SARS–COV2 coronavirus, we inform you about restrictions on the functioning of the District Court in Bolesławiec.

  • Hearings and public sessions from 13 March to 30 April 2020 have been cancelled, with the exception of urgent cases, which primarily include: sessions concerning the imposition and extension of pre-trial detention, cases concerning the removal of a person subject to parental authority or under guardianship pursuant to Article 569 § 2 of the Family and Guardianship Code, cases referred to in the Mental Health Protection Act, and cases at risk of the limitation period for prosecution expiring. The full list of urgent cases is included in Order No. 7/2020 of the President of the District Court in Jelenia Góra of 13 March 2020, available on the District Court in Bolesławiec website at www.boleslawiec.sr.gov.pl
  • Every day, the Court’s website publishes information about the cases that will take place the following day.
  • Direct service requiring personal contact has been suspended, including service for parties, attorneys and bailiffs. Parties and attorneys may obtain the necessary information by telephone, by calling the BOI number +48 64 69 500 or the numbers of the secretariats of individual divisions, which are available on the Court’s website. The Court may also be contacted by electronic correspondence—the email addresses of each division are available on the website.
  • The Common Courts Information Portal continues to operate without changes and is available to parties and attorneys after logging in.
  • Court fees may be paid exclusively by bank transfer; the Court’s account numbers are available on the website.
  • As of 19 March 2020, until further notice, the Court has suspended sending to parties and attorneys all documents concerning appeals and other appellate remedies—the exception applies to the urgent cases indicated above, as well as land and mortgage register and enforcement cases. Until further notice, case files involving appeals and complaints will also not be transferred to the appellate court, likewise with the exception of urgent cases.
  • Until 30 April 2020, examinations at the Court-Appointed Specialist Opinion Teams in Bolesławiec have been cancelled; court probation officers are also not conducting interviews at the wards’ places of residence or in the courthouse, except in urgent cases.

We apologize for the inconvenience. Introducing restrictions on access to the courthouse is intended to protect visitors and Court employees.

Information introducing further changes to the Court’s work will be posted on an ongoing basis on www.boleslawiec.sr.gov.pl.
