Officers from the Prevention Unit of the Police Station in Chojnów, while on duty in the Chojnów municipality, stopped the driver of a passenger vehicle for a roadside check.
“The driver’s behaviour raised suspicions that he might be under the influence of narcotic substances. The officers conducted a drug test, which confirmed their suspicions,” says Staff Sergeant Anna Tersa of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Legnica.
She adds:
However, this was not the end of his problems. The officers found narcotic substances in the form of amphetamine on the man.
The 33-year-old was arrested and taken to police custody. He now faces up to three years behind bars.
