City Hall officials:
We are repeating the campaign: we are lowering curbs. In the previous edition, we lowered curbs in 22 locations and improved 2 ramps. The largest number of infrastructure elements requiring improvement was reported by the Active Rehabilitation Foundation, Regional Office in Bolesławiec.
It is worth remembering that high curbs are a problem not only for cycling enthusiasts. The problem also affects people with disabilities who use wheelchairs, as well as, for example, people walking with children in strollers. After all, they too have to struggle with ramps that are too high.
Thanks to your involvement and intervention, you can change this! All you need to do is write a letter to our office.
How can you do this?
- enter your details. Provide your first name, surname and full address (also if you are sending the letter by email)
- describe the problem. Indicate what problem you noticed while travelling by bicycle or with a wheelchair. It is very important that you provide the exact location where the problem you describe occurs. If possible, attach a photograph
- write what you expect. You can describe what action you expect (e.g. lowering a high curb, repairing the surface, etc.)
- sign and send the request.
You can do this:
- by traditional mail to:
Bolesławiec City Hall
Rynek 41
59-700 Bolesławiec (Public Procurement and Municipal Investments Department) - or by email to: r.rzepnicki@um.boleslawiec.pl.
