KPN team:
Rocks from the waterlogged slope slid onto the trail to Szklarka Waterfall in Piechowice, on the section from the parking area by national road no. 3 to the shelter. Further rocks could slide at any moment, so following an on-site inspection, a decision was made to close the section between the parking area and the waterfall.
Park representatives add:
The safety work should be completed by Wednesday, provided there are no unexpected complications. The waterfall can be reached from the Stara Chata Walońska side, namely via 1 Maja and Kołłątaja Streets in Szklarska Poręba.
Once the necessary work has been completed, traffic on the trail to the waterfall will be restored.
