Officers from the Traffic Division of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec stopped a passenger vehicle for inspection while patrolling the county’s roads. A 23-year-old resident of Bolesławiec was behind the wheel. The driver avoided eye contact and kept changing the subject of the conversation.
KPP Bolesławiec:
Suspecting that the 23-year-old might be under the influence of drugs, the officers used a drug-screening test.
The traffic officers’ suspicions were confirmed. The man got behind the wheel under the influence of amphetamine. He could now face up to two years in prison, loss of his driving licence and financial consequences.
