In the coming years, residents of both Bolesławiec and the entire county can expect a genuine transport revolution. A number of absolutely crucial road and railway investments will be carried out here, including:
- reconstruction of the existing bridge and construction of a new one on Zgorzelecka Street
- reconstruction of the A4 motorway—from Wrocław to Krzyżowa
- reconstruction of the DK18 road from Krzyżowa to the border crossing with Germany in Olszyna
- construction of the Legnica bypass
- construction of access roads to the Trzebień Mały and Pstrąże military bases (and consequently, construction of two bridges over the Bóbr River and intersections in the Trzebień and Kozłów area)
- repairs to county, municipal and city roads, as well as engineering structures (bridges, culverts and viaducts)
- renovation of the Zebrzydowa–Żagań railway line (including Tomisław, Osiecznica, Przejęsław, Ławszowa and Świętoszów)
- modernisation of the PKP railway station in Bolesławiec.
