Officers from the Traffic Division of the Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters, while patrolling the city streets, arrested three men suspected of violating court bans.

The first was apprehended by officers on the afternoon of January 31. The 36-year-old from Małopolska had not only violated a court-imposed driving ban, but was also under the influence of intoxicating substances. What is more, traffic police found marijuana in the Małopolska resident’s car, and the vehicle in which the 36-year-old was travelling was not approved for road use.

During the night of January 31 to February 1, while checking a passenger vehicle, police determined that a 43-year-old resident of Lubań County had violated a lifetime court-imposed driving ban by getting behind the wheel.

An hour later, officers stopped another car. It was being driven by a 23-year-old resident of Bolesławiec. It turned out that the driver was subject to a court-imposed driving ban, which remained in force until 2022.

All three arrested men may now face a sentence of between three months and five years in prison.
