During the January session of the Bolesławiec City Council, the issue of introducing paid parking zones was discussed, among other matters. “At the same time, we want to introduce several new measures regarding traffic organization,” added President Piotr Roman.

One such issue, which is of course to be discussed beforehand, is reversing the direction of traffic on Mickiewicza and Sierpnia ’80 streets. “The idea is to make it possible to drive around the Market Square. So that the two parallel roads—Kościelna Street and Sierpnia ’80 Street—do not run in the same direction,” explained the mayor of Bolesławiec.

What would this achieve?

Thanks to this change, it would be possible to turn from Ogrodowa Street onto Mickiewicza Street and drive, for example, to the Bolesławiec Cultural Center – International Ceramics Center.

The president also mentioned that, in his opinion, drivers on Sierpnia ’80 Street should park their cars on only one side of the street. He added that something needs to be done about the parking spaces on Asnyka and Grunwaldzka streets.

What do you think? We invite you to join the discussion. We will certainly return to this topic.
