Officers from the Criminal Department for Combating Crimes Against Life and Health of the Legnica Municipal Police Headquarters arrested, as a result of operational work, a 19-year-old resident of Legnica who possessed a significant quantity of drugs. The narcotics had been prepared for distribution on the black market.
The young man was arrested while he was in his car. In the vehicle’s compartment, the officers found a shopping bag containing more than 200 sale portions of marijuana and several ecstasy tablets.
The detainee has already been charged with possessing a significant quantity of narcotic drugs and has also been placed under police supervision. The teenager could now face a sentence of one to ten years in prison.
