The poll has ended.
The Sejm rejected the Senate amendment concerning the vacatio legis period in the act establishing Polish Science Day.
What does this mean?
We will have a new national holiday intended to express “recognition for the achievements of Polish scientists.” It will fall on February 19. Not by coincidence. It is, after all, the birthday of the eminent astronomer Mikołaj Kopernik.
The act has already been submitted to the President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda.
