The Christmas campaign was organized by young people from the Federation of Young Social Democrats and county councillor Dariusz Pawliszczy.
The packages for the poorest children mainly contained school supplies. Additionally, every child, regardless of their parents’ financial situation, received one chocolate bar.
“We did not expect such a warm reception from the children, who were delighted with the packages they received,” says Dariusz Pawliszczy, a county councillor. “The campaign would not have taken place without the help and commitment of people of goodwill, whom we sincerely thank,” adds Daniel Biernat, chair of the FMS.
The value of the gifts handed out was more than PLN 600.
