On January 1, at around 2:50 a.m., officers from the Police Station in Szklarska Poręba were notified that an unconscious man who was showing no signs of life was lying on one of the city’s streets. They immediately went to the scene.
They found a man lying in the street. It turned out that he had sustained injuries that posed a real threat to his life. The victim was taken to hospital.
Several hours after the incident, police identified the person suspected of the assault. He turned out to be an 18-year-old resident of Jelenia Góra County.
At the request of the District Prosecutor’s Office in Jelenia Góra, the court ordered the teenager to be held in temporary custody for three months.
The young attacker could now face up to 15 years in prison.
