On December 31–January 1, officers carried out a total of more than 3,100 various interventions. Fortunately, no serious incidents were recorded on the roads of Lower Silesia. There were also no accidents involving firecrackers or fireworks.
In just five road accidents that occurred over the two aforementioned days, no one died. Four people were injured. Moreover, the officers arrested a total of 33 wanted persons.

We identified and removed from traffic a total of 40 people who, despite repeated appeals, decided to get behind the wheel of their vehicles after consuming alcohol.
All those detained for the acts they committed will now face trial.
