A chimney-soot fire broke out at around 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 31, in one of the multi-family homes on 11-go Listopada Street in Gromadka. The fire was noticed by a neighbor, who alerted the residents of the house. Thick smoke, flames and sparks were coming from the chimney. Firefighters quickly brought the danger under control. The building was not damaged. We remind everyone to have their chimneys inspected annually and to clean their flue ducts.
